Curatorial note:

An oasis can be a refuge, a truce, a place to rest. In this case, it’s a revolution with shifting winds. As part of a necessary record for Latin American realities, this documentary puts on the table the volatility of social conquests—of these shifting winds that require continuity and strength to take root in our region—while reminding us that conservatism and real power still operate against the common good. Let’s not get caught unprepared: an oasis can also be a mirage. Mariano Pozzi
