During the second half of the ‘90s, in the La Plata college town, a young boy is marvelled by college life and records all his experiences on a VHS camera. The film is set during the period when students clashed with the government over the passing of the Higher Education Law, a time that marked the beginning of the fight of college students against the neoliberal policies that proclaim the end of history.

The neoliberal 90s left an open wound that, still today, has not healed. In this documentary, Carlos Castro goes back on the audiovisual footage he has to help him narrate the student movements, his own political awakening, and the onslaught of facing the economic adjustments. Militant students´ activism in universities and the echoes of the present are like a flame that cannot be put out. For the new generations who are still fighting and leaving their mark, the defense of public college education in Argentina is their North star. Leandro Martínez.
