Aljafari has become a beacon of contemporary Palestinian cinema and has made the archaeological exploration of the Palestinian archive appropriated by Israel throughout history a central part of his creative work. This film, through a powerful gesture of reappropriating what was taken, and a poetic act of reimagining the recovery of an occupied territory, seeks to reconstruct the visual memory of a country through imagination and cinematic intervention.
