Curatorial note:

Through only one shot that challenges the viewer not to look away, we dive into Shirin’s heartbreaking testimony. Shirin is an Iranian woman who has been stripped of her profession and gotten trapped into a bureaucratic system that suffocates her from the shadows. This work goes beyond a mere denunciation; it is a cry for free speech, in which tears and anguish echo those voices that, despite having been silenced, refuse to disappear. Juliana Hortal
