In Latin America, horror as an artistic genre is often associated with politics itself. In this collectively created children’s story, there is no doubt about it: the piece’s visual language is rich with symbolism and intertextuality. It is a macabre game of metafiction, led by a circus troupe, guided by a testimony that proceeds from exile, and watched over by the souls of thousands of victims of state terrorism in our region.
