An ostensible calm surrounds the City Plaza Hotel in Athens. Once upon a time, the building stood empty. Then people started to arrive. Zhenos is at the hotel with her sisters. She escaped a terrible war in Afghanistan with her family and now lives among the other refugees who manage the City Plaza Hotel. In the context of everyday life at this hotel with a thousand doors, we see how the complex reality of an Afghan girl is haunted by dark memories.
