Anita Garibaldi was born in Brazil in 1821 and died in Italy when she was only 28 years old. A mother of four, she lived an adventurous life and fought crucial battles for the freedom of the Brazilian and Italian peoples. However, for many people, she was always just the faithful wife of the Hero of Two Worlds, Giuseppe Garibaldi.
